All of the wool-blend felt I use in my ornament kits comes from National Nonwovens, a company that sells wholesale to the trade only. To purchase individual pieces of felt online, try CommonwealthFelt.com. All of the embroidery floss I use is DMC brand six-strand cotton floss, available in most fabric and craft stores.
What follows is a list of floss colors along with the amounts of felt needed to make all of the ornaments in each set of patterns. I’ve included the size of the pieces I include in my kits and the color names I use in my patterns; parentheses contain National Nonwovens’ name and color number. These are the exact sizes of felt that we cut for our kits; you’ll have to do the math to see how our pieces correspond to the amounts of felt you purchase elsewhere.
